SWIMMING AND WATER FUN
Pool:
Linderhof Country Club is down the
road, on the condo-golf course side of the resort (across Route 16). Guests of My Mountain Chalet are welcome to use the
outdoor pool, tennis courts, playground and snack bar. There is a small
daily guest fee.
Lakes:
Take a 10 minute drive to
Echo Lake State Park. It has a family friendly beach, incredible
views of Cathedral Ledge and hiking trails up to the Ledge.
Conway Lake is 15 minutes away, in the town of Conway.
Other
swimming options:
Enjoy the unspoiled beauty of New Hampshire and find your
favorite spot for a cool swim in
Swimming Holes in the Mt.
Washington Valley.
Waterfalls:
Waterfalls in the Mt.
Washington Valley - more than just beautiful to look at, a few have
swimming "pools" and areas ideal for picnics.
Canoe,
kayak or tube the Saco River:
Two of the many outfitters in the area are
Saco Bound and
Northern Extremes.
Water
Slides:
Visit Attitash
Mountain, just a five minute drive, for their Alpine Slide and Water
Slide.
Whales Tale in Lincoln, NH is a huge water
park for a full day of fun. It's about 40 miles from the house, so this
would be a day long adventure - and worth it!
